A friend of mine recently emailed a bunch of her friends with this desperate plea: HELP! She has just been newly called as the Primary Chorister and is in great need of ideas and suggestions.
I have spent years and years conducting choirs, and even studied conducting in college (I was a music major). Ask me to conduct a symphony and I’ll gladly do it. But primary was hard for me, though I only did it for a short while. Luckily, there are some people who knew that Choristers like myself, and my friend, would need some pointers on how to be a good Primary Chorister.
These are some great links that I think will be helpful for anyone who is interested in teaching their primary, or their own children, about the gospel through music.

I have recently been called as Primary chorister – again. I was the chorister in this same ward in 1983. Can I tell you it is much harder now than then. There are many more helps which have given me hope but words of songs have changed and the entire format of Primary has changed. All good changes and I have never felt the Spirit stronger in Primary than I do now. I enjoy it but am wishing my brain worked better at memorizing all the old and new songs. I so appreciate all the help with the web sites. So thank you to all who are doing this. For this old Grandma it has been a lifesaver!
